> Martin I would think this is more widespread than just your local area. I heard an economist on the local NPR affiliate earlier this week discussing the job growth here in Florida. To my surprise he said that there was a 71% increase in professional service sector jobs over the same period last year (then again, last year was the year of the hurricane "ménage a trois" in our area), and a much smaller increase in hospitality sector jobs.

Wow! Assuming the economist wasn't blowing smoke, that is good news.
It's been theorized on the Katrina-related threads here that the
rebuilding of business infrastructure in New Orleans will require good
TW's and document/content specialists to manage everything. Might that
account for some of Florida's growth?
It's impossible to gauge the market based on D.C. Everything here is
