Tom Johnson asked:
Most tech writers have multiple projects going on simultaneously, each
with its own lists of tasks, deadlines, and other to-do items. I'm curious what your methods are for staying organized and top of it all.
-------------------------
I've got a white board that I write everything on. As I complete a task, I erase it. This has proven effective because if anyone asks about what I'm working on, I can just point to the board.
I also naturally am able to keep about 95% of what I have to do in my active memory. Sure, once in a while I have a long day and my RAM isn't up to peak performance, but in general I have trouble remembering new things on those days rather than forgetting previously-assigned tasks.
I also have a particular folder organization that I follow so that I can keep all of my files straight.
