Hello everyone,
First , I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who responded to my questions yesterday on using Word in preparation for my 1st contract as a technical writer! I've been busy absorbing all the great info. My assignment will be to produce internal procedures supporting IT - mostly regarding QA testing, processing bugs, Department overview, etc. Some of the work is operational related and involves backup procedures. There will be flowcharts, screenshots, etc. I'd like to get an idea of some standards/formats that would apply to this type of documentation. I've got some reference material on it's way to me but is there anything online that I can sink my teeth into now?
Mike
