Look around you. Look at software, hardware, cars, household goods, etc. How many names of products you see out there dragging around a stuffy, self-important, 5th wheel "The"? All the other products will laugh at it.

Nobody outside your company--probably that one department--cares about "The" as part of the name. Very few of them will ever write it correctly.

Agree. My wife has a company that is named "A Xxxx" (to
get it first in alphabetical lists), but most of the time
it gets reformatted into "Xxxx, A".
