Subject:Still hating Word and numbered headings From:Brian Gordon <elasticsoul2003 -at- yahoo -dot- ca> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Fri, 19 Aug 2005 18:46:00 -0400 (EDT)
So...TGIF.
I created a new template. I then created a new heading
style. I made it a List style, called it Heading 1
num, clicked OK, and this caused all other heading
styles to disappear.
I now have:
Heading 1
1 Heading 1 num
1.1 Heading 2
1.1.1 Heading 3
etc.
That is, creating a new list style wipes out all Word
heading styles except Heading 1.
I don't know if I have a question or am just venting.
I could do all my docs in AuthorIT...except that I
don't see any numbered headings in AIT, either, and
who knows what will happen when I publish to Word.
