You can add headers and footers -- including page numbers -- directly
through Acrobat.

Go Document > Add Headers & Footers

I'm using Acrobat 6 Pro ... and the features list for Acrobat 7 says that
both the standard and pro versions iclude this feature.

Not sure about Acrobat 5 ... can't remember that far back ;-)

Hi all,

I have a lengthy PDF document that was created using Acrobat 5's web capture
tool. The pages are not numbered. Does anyone know of a way to put numbers
on the pages, so that if someone prints the PDF it will have page numbers?
...
Paul
