Here in Tennessee, I go through the local Farm Bureau (Rural Medical), even
though I don't have a farm. They have basic medical insurance (major
medical, doctor's visit co-pay, no prescription plan) for about $120/month
for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. It was about one half what State Farm, Fortis,
and several other local companies were charging.
