It's not natively an IT consideration, but becomes one when you
consider that reporting isn't a manual practice any more.

Also, IT departments (in some cases) have gained a reputation for
going a bit over-board with SOX compliance, and maybe being less
cost-conscious than is ideal. I guess you'll have that when new
regulatory soup isn't yet fully digested.
