As a user, I find the '>' (or the '/') more useful for showing the menu structure because it has a
different look than the numbered steps, showing me immediately what I'm dealing with.

As a writer the '>' is nice because I can use it within numbered steps - without getting to
verbose or having to introduce a second level of numbered steps.
