Donna,

If you connect via instant message with your colleagues, you may find
you will not be so tempted to stray from the home office!

One acquaintance of mine installed a webcam at home and another at his
office (in the group conference space, as it happens) to give some of
the "face time" you mention.

My problem in working at home is doing too much work and neglecting my
home life. Gaining some balance is obviously a matter of some
discipline.
