Cool topic!

I am just this year taking real time off, after starting my business 7 years
ago. I was very reluctant to go away for longer than 2 business days, and
every time I tried it, what do you know, emergencies did crop up that only I
could handle. I heard that referred to recently as "owner anxiety."

Now, after putting in a ton of time in this state of anxiety, I've finally
gotten to the point where I have to believe that the team I've hired can
handle anything I can, perhaps better. The stress has built up over time
that I really do need to go off and clear my head a little bit.

I believe in making it possible for people to grow. Sometimes that means
getting out of the way and letting them "be the boss." I'd like them to have
a little of my concerns, anyway; they truly appreciate my function more!

This year, I'm actually taking a 5-day work week off. Cross your fingers! :)
