Hi Richard,

"Dialog" is a synonym for "dialog box", trust me.

Or you can refer your CEO to:
sunsite.iisc.ernet.in/virlib/winnt/spl_server/glossary.htm which defines
"dialog" as:
A popup modal child window, also called a dialog box, that requests
information from the user. Dialogs include message boxes, input boxes, and
user-defined dialogs for activities such as choosing files to open.

See also compunite.ca/computing_glossary.htm:
"The interaction between users and the program; frequently used as a
synonym for dialog box."

And:

http://www.site.uottawa.ca:4321/java/index.html#dialogbox
"dialog box is a synonym of dialog"

Good luck,
Chris
