You cannot presume anything about your users. You need to know.

There it is. No presumption necessary: when your users read the
explanation earlier in your guide about how the GUI in general
works, they will know, if they are experienced computer personnel,
how to do it.

I would conclude that you can safely drop "Click OK" and anything
else. We did that in our documentation at my last company.
