I assume that this was a quote from the person who responded. There is
a difference between being careful with your own language and imposing
that care on others (unless, of course, it's your job to do so), and IMO
confusing the two is stepping over the line to humorless anal-retentiveness.

However, I must say that on occaision I too feel sorry for the people who
must endure me. :)
