I bring in a hardcopy portfolio with screenprints of online documentation (if/when relevent). During the interview, I explain what they are looking at and invite them to view my online portfolio (usually at my personal homepage). Also, when I send them a "Thanks for the interview" email I paste the link to the location, just to remind them.

Oddly enough, at several of my last interviews they didn't even know what to do with my portfolio. Out of curiosity, do some TWs show up to interviews sans portfolio? If so, why? Under what circumstances would a TW NOT bring a portfolio? (Other than "they've already got it" or "It's a friend.")

I'm really curious if this is just a Dallas phenomenon or I'm the weirdo by bringing a portfolio at all. ;)
