I don't think they would have done that if they wanted to work with you
again. It is burning bridges, but it isn't bad business practices. If it
is in the contract, they can do it.

Ethical is that they gave you two weeks.

Unethical would be if they offered to be a reference for your next
position and then sandbagged you.
