The instructions for changing the time, date, etc. are well explained
in the manual. Unfortunately, many folks misplace the manual.
Also, the manufacturer receives an extra tax break for "educational"
advertising, which this advert qualifies as, instead of a "Buy
this meter because it is Better" advert.
And, if the advert costs more than phone support over the time change
issue,
so what? The advert for changing the time is also a subtle introduction
to the
meter for folks who may need a replacement for another meter.
