Anonymous is looking for help documenting a system that combines two or
more OSes, namely UNIX and Windows.

Anon, do you know what kind of setup it is? At my current position, one of
our products can be deployed in just such a setup, Windows boxes
connecting to UNIX data servers. However, because the Windows boxes can't
use the UNIX programs, each Windows client has to have its own Windows set
of programs to process the data that's retrieved. In this sort of a setup,
with the Windows clients doing their own processing locally, WinHelp or
HTMLHelp might be appropriate as each client would have its own help file
that it accesses locally.

If, however, the Windows boxes connect to the UNIX server using terminal
emulation or some other sort of software, being essentially just dumb
terminals that send requests and receive and display screens, with all
processing being done on the server, then JavaHelp could be more
appropriate, as it's the UNIX server that's accessing the help and just
sending the results to the dumb terminals.

If you can find out more about the setup, you'll probably go a long way to
determining your answer.

Good luck!
