Hi

I am describing an existing application which has a "table" or
"spreadsheet" control which both displays data and where cells are
editable.

You can select a cell by clicking (once) on it, and edit by just
typing after a cell is selected--that is, select a cell, start typing
new value, and press <ENTER> to apply the change.

Grammar: should one say
1) "click on a cell to select..." or "click in a cell to select.."?
on, in, or neither?

2) same as 1, but for "type on"/"type in" a cell

Thanks
Patrick
