RE: HTML v. PDF

For me, too, it depends on the nature of the documentation. I do read some PDFs online, but I find it's a hassel. I only download PDFs if I know I suspect I'm going to refer to the doc regularly and if I think it will be a problem to get back to (burried deep in a complex site) without bookmarking. 

I'd prefer to save paper and toner and not print the PDF, but a number of PDFs have too few links and require too much scrolling or repositioning. Migraine sufferers beware. Even if it's a document I'm likely to refer to constantly, I'd prefer well-designed HTML (with minimal scrolling) to a PDF that requires a lot of scrolling or requires me to reset the viewing properties when I open it.
