Diana and all:

Sorry--I fat-fingered the first email...

I use RoboHelp X5 to create WebHelp as well as Word documents for
printing and PDF'ing. I think that any conversion (and I've used
FrameMaker and WebWorks previously) has cleanup, but the key is to use
styles in RoboHelp for ALL the content and then to use a Word template
and map all the styles from the help system to the Word document. That
way you can avoid routine cleanup such as you mentioned, and if you have
links and things in the help that you don't want in the document, just
use a unique style in RoboHelp (such as HelpLink) and map it to
something unique in the Word template (such as HelpLink). Then you can
delete all of those at once from your Word document. Doing this is
fairly well documented, although I'd done it before with WebWorks, but I
think it works pretty well. Feel free to contact me off-list if you have
any more questions.
