Being good at selling yourself in an interview means that you're good at
selling yourself in an interview. It doesn't necessarily mean that you're
also a good tech writer.

I worked with someone who sold herself brilliantly during an interview for
a sr-level TW position, but turned out to be a horrible employee. She
couldn't write well (even when she tried), and preferred to spend most of
her day surfing the Web as opposed to actually working. Our mgr fired her
after five or six months, after giving her much handholding and many
attempts to "shape up".
