Thanks for the response. You are correct: I seek to
idenfity the essential processes - and the specific
steps within those processes (along with technques)-
that define writing skills.
I have been researching on structured writing simply
because several others have told me that that's the
"meat" of writing skills.
I will devote time to research on the specific steps
of rhetoric.
