Breadcrumbs are an excellent navigation aid for websites. In one compact package, they both let me know where I am in relation to the whole site, and easily allow me to go up one or more levels to go somewhere else.

I used to use these when building web pages using Dreamweaver. It was just a matter of listing the path to get to the page from the homepage, and making each step into a link to the appropriate page. I also used a smaller font for the breadcrumbs.

I'm sure someone on the list can give the steps for doing this in RoboHelp.

Cheers,
Eileen

Hello, all,

Does anyone know how to create breadcrumbs in
RoboHelp?
I read Steve Krug's book Dont Make me Think. In a
chapter he spoke of breadcrumbs, a kind of trail the
user takes to get to wherever he/she is in a web page,
e.g., Home-->special deals-->Deal of the week.

Thanks,
Anthony Hernandez
