Congrats onthe new job!

In this case, I'd put that info to good use and devise a different
strategy for providing docs to the trainers directly and/or working
with customers (maybe in a consulting role... $$$) to build local Help
infrastructures that they can then be trained to maintain, or work to
ensure their local systems are accurate in content and are
accessible...

Either way, nice findings, and don't let them get you down! Rather,
let them provide you with a new and better direction with your docs
work! :-)
