>I am curious to get some feedback from list members about the ratio of
writers to pages maintained per year in their organizations. (I
checked the archives, and only found info on writer to
developer/engineer ratios; I didn't find anything on ratios of writers
to pages maintained.)

Last job, as a lone writer there was about 2000 pages of documentation,
and of that, about 500 required updating frequently along with 3 help
systems.

At the current job, one of two writers and our current number is about
200 pages, but we're adding new pages and documents from scratch daily.

And the thing that makes very little sense when you look page count, I
am MUCH busier at this position than I was at my last. IMHO, page count
is a vastly different thing than workload.

Well, I think it depends more on if you're just dealing with grass, or
if you have flowers and trees added to the mix. :) Really, it depends
on the work you're doing.
