Definitely no Rolex. You want to look successful, but not *too*
successful to someone you're going to be quoting rates to. As far
as the suit is concerned, the only people who will notice the difference
between the material/quality of the off-the-rack vs. custom suit will
be someone who wears the customs himself, but anyone will be able
to tell if your suit doesn't fit. So the rack suitsw should be fine as long
as you had them fitted well. The cuffs are probably irrelevant unless
you take off your jacket, but if you're going to be doing anything that
requires you to roll up your shirtsleeves, skip them or you risk looking
like too much of a fuss-budget.
