I have a BS in communication. I wouldn't say it got me started in my
career though. I only majored in that as a fallback to a major that
didn't work out. I didn't want to switch schools (and in retrospect
I'm still happy with that decision). I wanted to be a computer
musician with my communication degree (heavy in electronic media
arts). I kind of fell into tech writing, and now I'm in management, a
occupation I've never studied.
