Hi- I've been approached to ghost write a dead tree tech book with an
online edition for a new system that will be sold at Borders, etc...
Anyone know where I would look into setting up a contract for this? I hear
it is 10% of the what the publisher gets, but is there any way to get
compensated for hours in addition to 10% in case the project gets
cancelled? It is such a short time to press project, plus I need a
technical editor before it goes to the publisher's editor, which would be
my expense.

Any advice is helpful.

Amanda
