JOB: Writer/analyst needed in Long Beach

The position is an IT/IS position that is involved in reverse engineering
a system that will be delivered at the end of March. Essentially, the
automotive company developed a system under a tight timeframe and did not
do the documentation that describes the application and how it was
engineered. It is like a word problem where you have the question and the
solution, but not the "work" in between.

? Reorganize and streamline the existing documentation
? Identify gaps in the documentation and schedule for coverage
? Interview analysts and developers to "fill in the blanks"
? Design reports and research methods to find information in the library

Skill set needed:

? Understanding and knowledge of business and systems process flows and
what documentation "should" be there
? RUP process and software, Rational product desired
? Word
? Visio
? Excel
