Hi--
I realize that jobs get posted in another section of this site, but as I
am interviewing today... I thought I would start here.
Here is the nontechnical, no jargon explanation of the requirements:
The position is an IT/IS position that is involved in reverse engineering
a system that will be delivered at the end of March. Essentially, the
automotive company developed a system under a tight time frame and did not
do the documentation that describes the application and how it was
engineered. It is like a word problem where you have the question and the
solution, but not the "work" in between. This happens fairly often but is
not ideal.
The person I hire will work with me to:
· Reorganize and streamline the existing documentation
· Identify gaps in the documentation and schedule for coverage
· Interview analysts and developers to ?fill in the blanks?
· Design reports and research methods to find information in the
library
Skill set needed:
· Understanding and knowledge of business and systems process flows
and what documentation ?should? be there
· RUP process and software, Rational product desired
· Word
· Visio
· Excel
Rate DOE. Please include desired rate and resume in response.
Thanks!
