I endorse this sentiment wholeheartedly, and our process is
documented in excrutiating detail. However, the process is
documented as it really happens, as opposed to the many
instances I have seen in which the process docs are pie in
the sky concepts for how things should be, and we fully
acknowledge such tactics as nagging, threatening and
digging in heels as integral parts of the way we manage to
make things happen around here (of course, we use more
"business correct" names for them, like "drive schedules,"
"elevate issues," and "enforce standards"). :)
