If you are doing what I think you want to do, it is possible with Forte
Agent newsreader software. (http://www.forteinc.com/main/homepage.php)
Involves using Agent's expression language though, and may not be
available with Free Agent.

I think it is also possible using the rules wizard in MS Outlook. I
have a number of filters set up here, but using enitre words rather than
just a couple of characters.

For other software, you'd need to check out the documentation.
