I'm not sure you are right about laptops nor about docking. I see very
few docking stations compared to the number of laptops in use, and I
see lots of laptops accessing the Internet, especially with wireless
networks becoming more common. Having said that, I see a lot of
laptops with desktops of 1024 x 768 and larger AREA.
Me? I'd go with 800x600. Why? Well, toolbars suck up space and I
notice most people seem not to maximize their browser windows, so they
never use all the available AREA on the desktop, anyway.
