OK, let me rephrase that. I *re*reread the original query, and I don't find
the original poster to be, as you put it, "completely oblivious to the idea
that there is such a concept as ethics in the first place, let alone that
you or I as individuals have any obligation to behave ethically toward one
another."

With all due respect to your continued outrage, Dick, it is _possible_ that
you misunderstood the original poster's request for a "heads-up." Some of
our colleagues have already suggested reasonable, alternative
interpretations. Maybe they're wrong and you're right, but maybe -- just
maybe -- they're right.
