Re: The End Of Technical Writing?
Using Google Groups Advanced Search, my results were as follows:
All the words: user task analysis--508 posts
All the words: end user task analysis--318 posts
Exact phrase: end user task analysis--42 posts
Exact phrase: end-user task analysis--42 posts
And if you use the more common term, a naked "task analysis" without modifier, Google Advanced returns 874 items from the TECHWR-L archives. A quick browse through the threads around a few few items showed and average of 23 posts per thread that discussed task analysis but didn't use that exact phrase.
