Good point. I didn't think of that, and I'm sorry.
Why did you append "thank you" to that statement if you didn't feel peeved?
I read it as, "Thanks for telling me the obvious as if I didn't know it."
I wasn't peeved at all, just a little surprised that you thought I might not have noticed that Microsoft has been using variations on the original Windows logo since, like, forever.
