I am not a medical writer so I'd certainly defer to anyone who is; but I
have worked in the domain of medical content and clinical software for
several years and many of my (ex) co-workers came from the nursing field.
That said, it seemed that having the practical experience trumped any sort
of M.A. you might receive (it is an M.A., isn't it, is it a Public Health
Master's or? ) If you get the RN you can practice, which would not be the
case w/the Master's degree for non-nurses?
