Hi tech whirls!

Currently, I am developing a guide to writing meta data in XML files. This functionality extends a specification which introduces the term "metatype". In the same time, the specification contains an interface called "MetaTypeProvider" (pay attention at the capitalized T), which hints that the words "meta" and "type" should be written separately. Then, how should I write this "meta" term in my guide?

I have a similar problem with "meta data" - the MS style guide recommends writing it as "metadata", but in most APIs here it is used as MetaDataXxx.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Iliana Kostova.
