Before I post my question a little background on what I am trying to do. -

I have an old Robohelp project that is available online and the links
to this project were embedded in the software that I wrote. The
software gives help link on almost every screen in the actual
application and when user clicks it, it will go to my site and pull up
the specific page requested by the user from the Robohelp. Basically I
am using a simple javascript to post the URL and page name to pull it
up on the screen.

Now, I have created a new Robohelp project with latest information and
want my users to read the latest help files rather than the old ones.
It will not be a cost effective solution to update the links in every
single piece of software with every single customer to modify the
links to point them to a new location.

What I want is some way in which I can map the links from the old
system to point to the actual pages in new help system.

E.g, User clicks the help link to get help on "How to create Reports"
in the software and then it goes to testA Robohelp HTML project and
opens reports.html , now I want it to be redirected to testB project >
NewReports.html.

Since there would be thousands of HTML pages I was thinking about some
kind of mapping between old links and new links. I have been looking
for it on google and found something called map tables but I am not
sure if I can use the mapIDs across two different projects.

It will be a great help if you send me some suggestions or a little
nudge in the right direction. All replies are greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot.
