Hi,

One of our developers sent me the following question:

"Is there a document file format/tool that the developers could use for feature specifications where we can easily diff doc versions? Something a little more sophisticated than a plain text file and less annoying than word?"

I have suggested that we can pdf the docs and do a comparison with Acrobat, which works and can be used with some of their visio diagrams as well. There is also the compare feature in Word. The documents are revision controlled using Perforce, which does a nice diff on the source code files, but can't handle the binary files.

Are there any other options?

Thanks,

C.
