oudeis quoted part of an article by Paul Brown, "environment correspondent," in yesterday's Guardian Unlimited:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/online/news/0,12597,1286066,00.html

I found it amusing that, in an article about mistakes, the fourth paragraph starts with this sentence:

The company has now launched geography classes for its staff
to avoid further bloomers which have caused embarrassment and
cost money on a grand scale.

I was also surprised to learn that Microsoft Office 97 had replaced the Windows 95 operating system, at least in India.

To mention just one of the grammatical errors in the article, the title should've been "Microsoft Pays Dearly..."

(We don't need no steenkin' proofreaders!)
