On the one hand, I have used OpenOffice Writer for a number of small projects, typically 10 to 20 pages, 20 to 50 graphics. I found it to be intuitive to use, and also powerful and stable (its implementation of frames rocks!).

On the other hand, I consider Frame's great strength to lie in its rock-solid stability when documents gets *huge* and incorporates lots and lots of graphics. I also like the way that a Frame project consists of a book that contains multiple documents.

So, I have two questions:

1. Does Writer stand up to monster documents?

2. Does Writer do reliable numbered headings? (I'm thinking about the horrors of MS Word's buggy heading numbers here.)
