Well, that's easy for you to say.

But our profession includes techwriters who are not much more than
secretaries, to phd-level subject-matter experts, to artists, to
layout specialists, and every point in-between, delivering print,
online help, Web sites, white papers, marketing, API docs and so
forth.

How does the STC ... how does anyone get a handle on that? I mean,
okay, stop trying to cover all bases, but then which ones to pick?
Where should the focus go?
