More than one person has either expressed bewilderment regarding my post
or pointed out the unfortunate spelling error that I perpetuated by
copying/pasting a quote from a website (
http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Shores/5270/asterix.html).
My 'joke' was in reference to the conquering of the Gauls by the Romans
and the well known, at least in some places (translated in over a 100
languages and dialects), comic series Asterix.
If you don't know the series, or perhaps even if you are already well
versed, here's a better web site that I found:
http://www.asterix-obelix.nl/
