Didn't catch this when it first ran, but the "Monk" in which John Turturro
plays Monk's brother is on, and it turns out that Ambrose Monk (Turturro)
is a technical writer--writes instruction manuals for blenders, toasters,
guns.

For those who don't know, "Monk" is a show about a detective with
obsessive compulsive disorder. In this show, he says his brother has
"issues", and the brother is an agoraphobic technical writer who knows
EXACTLY which page of his manual has a typo and keeps and files all his
mail, including duplicates of catalogs. Pretty funny, although not exactly
the image that most of us want to project.
