I've never been played with "in a similar manner". They may have been
honing their interviewing skills on me, or making me go through the
drill when they knew there wasn't a chance of hiring me, but I was also.
In fact, not so much recently, but when a single post on Dice would
result in 20 calls, I specifically scheduled one or two warm-up
interviews...ones I knew I wasn't interested in.

I'm just saying that you shouldn't squander the opportunity to learn
something.
