OTOH, over in the "importance of the" thread, someone argued that writing
as communication ought to parallel speech. Well, this is how a lot of people
talk today. In fragments. Not sentences. Go figure.
I disagree. In speech it would be, "Well, this is how a lot of people talk today: in fragments, not sentences. Go figure."
