I think this qualifies under the recently discussed Alan
Cooper title "The Inmates Are Running the Asylum".

The Adobe screen (IMHO) could not have been through any of
the homogenizing QA process that a major productgoes
through. Your reaction would have been anticipated and the
cause eradicated by any user-focused QA. But maybe Adobe IS
being run by teenaged programmers. Acrobat 6 seems to
support that same conclusion, at least to some of us.
