The simple answer is, no, you don't have to use it.

The purpose of the logo is to certify a particular disc meets certain
standards. There are many digital disc standards. There are many

The question is, do I have to use the "Compact Disc" logo?
The last time I did this, I had to, if I remember correctly.
But now I'm looking at CDs from Adobe and Sun and MS, and
they don't use the logo. What's up? Has this requirement
gone away??? Anybody know the scoop?
